Bonnie Grubaugh

Bonnie Grubaugh, formerly Bonnie Ash, is the Development Director at Feed The Hungry where she gets to work on growing givers’ hearts, connecting and developing personal relationships with FTH partners and sharing their shared passion to help others with the local community as she also is in charge of public relations. Bonnie states that being a part of the Feed The Hungry ministry team is the most challenging and satisfying experience anyone could ever imagine. Bonnie says it is awe-inspiring to see that while over 20,000 children are being fed every day by FTH’s mission, its impact around the world is continually expanding.
Bonnie first ministered under Dr. Sumrall and was an Account Executive in radio/television sales at LeSEA Broadcasting. She was then transferred to Denver, Colorado KWHD-TV as Sales Manager. There, she hosted “Inside Colorado” a weekly television program, served as public relations representative, was a member on several committees, was involved in numerous Chamber and community-based organizations and was privileged to be voted 2001 Woman Leader of Excellence by the Colorado Women Leadership Coalition.
Wanting to return to Indiana to be with family after working 15 years in Colorado, Bonnie was blessed with a job as the door once again opened at LeSEA. In 2005, Bonnie returned to Indiana and joined the LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry team as Development Director.
Bonnie graduated from Aspen Christian College and attended Denver Seminary. While in Colorado, Bonnie worked at the Denver Rescue Mission, volunteered at the Prison Ministry, was active in her church on several committees and was a greeter. Having a heart to serve the less fortunate living in desperate, unimaginable circumstances, she was able to minister in Barahona Province, Dominican Republic handing out food and Bibles. In addition to her Feed The Hungry responsibilities, Bonnie is a board member of Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She also gives back to the community as a member of Make A Difference Michiana and is available for speaking engagements.
Bonnie is recently married and resides in South Bend where her three children and four grandchildren also live.
