Kenya 2006 Update
Pastor Chrispinus Okumu from the Soweto Academy in Nairobi, Kenya has received the first container of pre-packaged meals from Feed The Hungry. Just this container alone will allow Pastor Chris to feed 1,300 children in the Kibera slums DAILY for a little more than six months! Kibera is known as the world's largest slum with over one million inhabitants concentrated in a three-square mile area.
Pastor Chris will also send some of the meal packs to places like Kitui, pastoral lands that are now being severely affected by the current "Horn of Africa" drought.
"This weekend we were off to Kitui to feed the hungry. We have purchased a bicycle for areas that the vehicle could not access."
"Some areas were even inaccessible by the bicycles; a donkey is the major means of transport as you can see here."
"Kids give thanks to God for you. Thank you for being sensitive to the call of God. Their lives will never be the same again!"

"This elderly lady is deserted but today she will have food to last her a while. Thank you for reaching the most needy cases with relief."
