Project Cambodia: A Festival of Hope
The Festival of Hope in Kampong Thom province was a joint effort between three ministries- Feed The Hungry, Victory International, and Joyce Meyer Ministries. Once again, good friends Pastors Billy Joe & Sharon Daugherty from Victory Tulsa led a grand evangelistic campaign and provided leadership seminars for all area churches. Tens of thousands attended the evening meetings and 300+ pastors and church leaders received training during the day-time seminars.

Giant billboards and flyers announced the events, and the local soccer field was booked to hold the evening festivals. Free books from Joyce Meyer, translated into Kmai were given to people who attended (like this man here).

Local pastors and elders were hoping that they could attract 4,000 people to the festival, and they were totally amazed when over 20,000 were present for the first night.

Part of the successful evangelical model from the Daugherty's is to take small Youth teams to the villages to conduct dramas, share the Gospel and generally have fun with the children.

Preparing Nutritious Rice Meals in Rural Cambodia - Feed The Hungry Australia Bringing high energy, beautiful smiles, and a Godly lack of restraint and self-consciousness these veteran teen-aged missionaries broke down cultural and language barriers with a series of simple ice-breaker games and good-natured nonsense. Soon, both children and their parents were relaxed and receive the simple message of Christ.
While the Youth team ministered to the Children, Cambodian youth from local church began cooking the food.

These fortified rice meals are a real nutritional bookst and were donated by another partner in ministry Feed My Starving Children.
To all our partners and friends who supported Project Cambodia in prayer and giving...
THANK YOU!!
