Today in South Sudan, the massive shipment of food we sent last year is running out. The 600+ children at New Generation School and Dreamland in Yei -- the ones you’ve fed day by day through your generous support -- need our help again.
Our goal this summer is to send twice as much food as last year ... two huge shipping containers instead of one. Why?
Because we’ve received a cry for help from Harvesters School and Orphanage where “Mama Lilly” has given everything she has to help raise up 660 children who have lost their parents to war, AIDS, and famine ... these children need to know that they are loved and cared for, we cannot let them go hungry.
As you open your heart today, as you have done so beautifully in the past, and our ministry family extends God’s love once again, we’ll be able to ship around $100,000 worth of food (more than 541,000 individual servings) for pennies on the dollar -- plus send Bibles and school supplies to help keep our Sudanese boys and girls growing strong in spirit, soul, and body.
My prayer is that you’ll be led of the Lord to send a gift today and another gift of at least that amount next month... a brief two-month commitment to these children for whom survival is a very real issue every day.
