LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian mission focused on fighting hunger due to poverty, war, famine, and natural disasters. Our pastor-to-pastor, church-to-church strategy delivers aid to fulfill the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people in crisis.

Our founder, Dr. Lester Sumrall (1913-1996) traveled the world as a missionary statesman for over sixty years and saw first-hand the terrible suffering caused by hunger and poverty. In 1987, he rose to the challenge by God "that my church in the third world does not die of hunger before I return." With enthusiasm and determination, Dr. Sumrall founded LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry® that same year. Since then, we have delivered more than 200 million dollars of food and relief supplies to 92 nations of the world.
Feed the Hungry is uniquely different in that we directly oversee the entire relief process, making sure your contributions get into the hands of those who need it most. Before a food distribution takes place, we secure guarantees from the appropriate government agencies, giving us the rights to distribute food directly through local churches. Local pastors and churches understand and know the people and conditions within their community! Under the direction and leadership of Feed the Hungry, distribution plans are created and implemented so the people receive the food as intended.
In 2005, Feed the Hungry began our Every Child Every Day program - an initiative to supply nutritious, daily meals to vulnerable children living in the world's least developed nations. Children also receive an education that gives them hope for the future. Our goal is for 100,000 children to have their physical and spiritual needs met by an ECED program.
