Rebecca, only 12 years old, is from South Sudan. Her homeland has seen horrific violence for more than a decade. 400,000 have been killed. Countless more lives have been ravaged, especially those of women and children. The innocent have been assaulted, homes burned, villages looted, and even children have been recruited to join the fighting. Rebecca witnessed far too much of this hurt and hunger.
