Tax-Smart Giving Tips.

Every gift you give feeds hungry children and shares the hope of Christ. And there are giving avenues that may help you do even more—while reducing your tax burden.

Here are a few options worth considering.

Take advantage of new charitable giving tax laws, even if you don’t itemize!

Beginning on January 1, 2026, you can deduct up to $1,000 (single filers) or $2,000 (married filers) in cash charitable donations to LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry, even if you don’t itemize! (Please note: Donor-Advised Fund gifts are ineligible.)

Make a 1x gift or consider becoming a Full Life Monthly Partner to take advantage of this full deduction:

Give $83.33 per month and feed 13 children daily meals every month ($1,000/yr for a single filer) or give $166.67 per month and feed 27 children daily meals every month ($2,000/yr for married filers).

Give Through Your Donor-Advised Fund.

If you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) through National Christian Foundation, Fidelity Charitable, or another provider, recommending a grant to Feed The Hungry is a simple, effective way to provide meals, hope, and the love of Christ to children and families facing hunger around the world.

You’ll need this information:

Tax I.D. number for LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry: 32-0053249

Mailable address: 530 E. Ireland Road, South Bend, Indiana 46614

Grants made to LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry through Donor-Advised Funds are designated to be used “Where Most Needed”—unless otherwise specified by you as the donor.

To make DAF giving easy, we have direct links to many DAFS right here.

Give Through Your IRA.

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70½ years old or older to donate up to $111,000 total each year to LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry directly from a taxable IRA (indexed for 2026). Spouses can each donate $111,000 QCD from their own respective IRAs ($222,000 total).

Consult with your financial advisor on the potential tax savings for your unique circumstances.

At age 73 years and older, you can make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Feed The Hungry to satisfy all (or a portion) of your required minimum distribution (RMD).

You can also benefit if you have a 401(k) or a 403(b), but you must first convert the account into an IRA rollover. In this particular circumstance, consult with your financial advisor about making this rollover at least the year prior to when your first required minimum distribution (RMD) is due or you may incur taxes on the distribution.
